The Illuminated Light Trail winds through the formal gardens with installations, fire gardens and laser shows, making it a full evening out.

Getting there

By train

Take Great Western Railway services to Hanborough (from Oxford, Reading or London Paddington). From the station it’s a 5-minute taxi ride or 20-minute walk. There are also shuttle buses during peak weekends.

By coach

National Express services arrive in Oxford. From Gloucester Green Bus Station take Stagecoach S3 or S7 to Woodstock, which stops outside the palace gates.

Driving & parking

Blenheim Palace is on the A44. Follow the Christmas event signage to the dedicated event car park (pre-book parking where possible). EV charging points are limited in Woodstock.

Accessibility

The market is on level gravel and paved areas. Accessible toilets are located near the West Courtyard. The Light Trail has a step-free route, though some surfaces are uneven—mobility scooters are available to hire in advance.
