Why Blenheimâs market is special
Few festive markets can compete with the grandeur of Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Wooden chalets line the tree-lined Great Court, surrounded by the palaceâs baroque facades and parkland designed by Capability Brown. Artisans from across the UK showcase ceramics, jewellery, textiles, gourmet treats and luxury stocking fillers. A huge Christmas tree sits centre stage, while live bands and choirs perform throughout the season.
A separate ticket grants entry to the palace interior, which is transformed each year with a new immersive theme (2025 rumours suggest a âChronicles of Christmasâ narrative). The Illuminated Light Trail winds through the formal gardens with installations, fire gardens and laser shows, making it a full evening out.
